The mentors are candidates that were previously in the Epona Integrated Riding program and have since graduated from high school and continued onto higher learning in a CEGEP, university or a vocational training program. They return to mentor the youth by participating in both the Stay in School Program and the Equestrian Program. With the collaboration and guidance of the “Home and School Support Team” mentors provide:

• Tutoring and act as a positive role model for the younger youth through positive social integration.
• Assistance to the Equestrian coaches in working with the youth.
• In return they themselves will receive riding time.
